Deer harvested by the Suburban Bowhunters group

Suburban Bowhunters have been proud to serve the St. Louis community since 2004 in helping to maintain a healthy balance in our local deer herds. To meet the growing needs of communities, we expanded our team of trained professionals in 2017. Focused on population control, the vast majority of deer harvested were breeding-age does.

We currently service many subdivision common grounds and private property in Ballwin, Clarkson Valley, Chesterfield, Creve Coeur, Manchester and Wildwood.

The following are the harvests by year for the Suburban Bowhunters group in St Louis County:

With a single breeding pair of deer being capable of exploding into a herd of 35 within 7 years, one can only imagine the ecological and fiscal damage that would occur without the wise and effective solutions that bow hunting provides. Without the services of the Suburban Bowhunters, there would literally be thousands more deer posing a problem in our communities today.
